My most common question by far! Warm, nostalgic, intentional, specialized, limited, joyful. Analog photography is for the vinyl lovers, the movie buffs, the coffee snobs (I say that affectionately) or those with timeless taste.
Typically when I’m shooting film at a family shoot, portrait session, or on a wedding day, my focus is to tell a story entirely made up of in-between moments. I’m specific about the frame, focus, and timing as I space out those 36 frames between my digital coverage. They oftentimes turn out to be my favorite images of the gallery.
Each roll of 35mm is $150 for 34-36 images, 120 film is 12-16 images all delivered digitally with the rest of your gallery. I supply black and white or color.
I’m based in Portland, Oregon but am originally from Phoenix, Arizona!
Yes, I’m almost always on the go. I basically live out of my suitcase and have memorized more than a few airports. Honestly, it’s such an honor to get to capture milestones for people all over the world.
If you’re curious about an out-of-state documentation, I charge $700 as a flat travel rate for overnight stays to cover my travel & expenses. *rate is subject to change depending on airfare surges etc.
As a proud member of the community myself, yes I do! The queer community means the world to me and getting to capture all love stories from all people should be priority for any photographer.
It all depends on the shoot you’ve scheduled, but even my smallest sessions at 30min typically receive at least 50 images. Wedding galleries typically tally to 400 photos at the lowest!
Indeed you can! I don’t hold any printing rights for images, so no extra fees are required. All my galleries have a built-in shop where you can design cards, albums, or wall pieces and help support my business, however, you are by no means obligated to order through me!
