One of the best parts of my job is my fulfilled dream of travel! Lucky lucky me has clients across the country – few but mighty.

Maggie & Ramona live in San Fran and recently I went to go take photos of their engagement (yay!) and soon I’ll be back to document their wedding (even bigger yay!). I decided to make this trip a little weekend getaway and brought my partner with.

We booked a tiny lil hotel room and thus ensued a San Francisco speed tour. We brought along two film cameras that my partner’s grandmother had gifted them as well as a couple rolls of deeply expired film. We figured we’d rather mess around with these fun new toys then shoot with my normal collection of analog cameras.

I showed Reni the basics of film photography, and if the expired roll of kodak hadn’t been working against them, they probably would have had some stunning, crips city scenes. I shot the black and white roll, which was much more forgiving in the developing process.
